My Collection of Lotus Wei Flower Essences

lotus-wei

I’m really happy to share my love of Lotus Wei Flower Essences with you today – I’ve been using them for about a year, and they have become a mainstay in my family’s lives. #shoutingfromtherooftops

First things first, though. What is a flower essence? Well, you can read all about them here, but in a nutshell, they are pure, natural elixirs that have the power to shift your mood and physiology via the body’s acupuncture meridians. Katie Hess, the founder of Lotus Wei, has trained over the past several decades with several Tibetan Buddhist masters, including The Dalai Lama, and The Karmapa, Tibet’s next generation leader. The woman knows her stuff, and she’s just one of the kindest, most compassionate women out there.

Let’s talk product, though. Here are my favorites, in order of adoration.

Quiet Mind Serum – This is the most-used in my collection, as my kids love it! (For real, they won’t go to sleep before applying the serum…it’s become a much-adored nightly ritual.) Both my children rub this serum on their feet and wrists before bed to help promote calmness and good sleep. When we started with the products, I would apply it to them myself, but they have grown to love doing it independently. The reason I prefer using the serums over the mists or anointing oils on my children is that the product is more diluted, which is perfect for little ones. The scent is very mild – soothing and calming, with hints of Geranium, Lemon, & Coriander.

Inner Peace Serum Another serum I use on myself and the kids – if you are a lavender buff, this one is for you. Inner Peace promotes deep peace, calm, confidence, comfort, and contentment; also strength and assuredness during times of high-stress. (I usually rub Inner Peace Anointing Oil on my wrists before speaking at events.) I definitely pick up lavender, scent-wise, plus a little vetiver and geranium. A truly lovely scent. I alternate the two serums in terms of the kiddos, and sometimes, we combine them if they are having a particularly rough night.

(Probably a good time to mention that my son has issues sleeping – he inherited his hamster wheel brain from his mama, and the two above serums have helped tremendously. No joke – he sleeps so much better when we use them.)

Infinite Love Mist – Okay, I never thought in a million years that I would be a “mister” type. I don’t use mists, I don’t spray mists, I mean, whaaaaat? Obsessed with this mist. The red mandarin + rose + lemongrass scent has hooked me completely. I spray this stuff around my desk, on my bed, on my person…I just love it. The Infinite Love line promotes unconditional love for yourself & others, and enhanced magnetism, attractiveness and charisma. It dissolves irritation, being hard on yourself, hard heart, feeling attacked, resentment, anger, jealousy, codependency, giving away all your energy to others and forgetting your own needs. I mean, WHO DOESN’T NEED THIS STUFF, I ASK OF YOU?

Radiant Energy Elixir – The elixirs are flower essences in a honey blend that you can drop in water and drink. The Radiant Energy elixir is perfect for energy, vitality, protection, strength, powerful presence, immune system boost, and recharging after air travel and/or computer use. I love this one during high periods of stress or when I feel like I am coming down with something.

Anointing Oils – My three go-to rollerball oils are the Inner Peace Anointing Oil, Full Bloom Anointing Oil, and Infinite Love Anointing Oil. These are the same scents as described above, but just more potent that the serums. I love to carry these in my purse for use throughout the day. Full Bloom is really lovely – Sweet Orange, Lavender, Nutmeg, Coriander & Spearmint make it a really pretty scent.
